Process Introduction
1. Grind phosphate rock powder and mix it with dilute phosphoric acid to prepare slurry.
2. Add sulfuric acid and heat for acidolysis, producing crude phosphoric acid, phosphogypsum and fluorine-containing tail gas.
3. Separate by filtration, wash and discharge gypsum to obtain crude phosphoric acid.
4. Recycle tail gas to produce fluorine salts.
5. Concentrate crude phosphoric acid under vacuum to get industrial phosphoric acid; high-purity phosphoric acid can be produced via solvent extraction purification.
Scope of Application
hosphoric acid is a key raw material for manufacturing phosphate fertilizers and feed-grade phosphorus supplements.
Product Application
1. It is widely used for metal surface phosphating, forming a protective phosphate film to prevent corrosion and improve coating adhesion.
2. Blended with nitric acid, it acts as a polishing agent to increase metal surface smoothness.
3. It serves as a major material for producing phosphate esters, detergents and pesticides.
4. It is essential for the manufacture of phosphorus-based flame retardants.
Food Applications
As a common food additive, phosphoric acid functions as an acidulant and yeast nutrient in beverages and food products. Its phosphate derivatives are also widely used as nutritional fortifiers in the food industry.
Fertilizer raw material
It produces MAP and DAP to supply phosphorus for crops, boosting crop growth, yield and quality.
New energy battery raw material
Purified phosphoric acid makes lithium iron phosphate for EV and energy storage batteries.
Metal anti-corrosion phosphating agent
It forms dense anti-rust films on metal parts and improves coating adhesion.
