Application 1. Feed Grade Calcium formate: 1. As a new feed additive. Feeding Calcium formate to gain weight and using calcium formate as feed additive for piglets can promote the appetite of piglets and reduce the rate of diarrhea. Adding 1% ー1.5% calcium formate into the diet of Weanling pigs could improve the performance of weanling pigs. The German study found that adding 1.3% calcium formate to the diets of weanling piglets could improve the feed conversion rate by 7% ~ 8% , and adding 0.9% could reduce the occurrence of diarrhea in piglets. Zheng Jianhua (1994) added 1.5% calcium formate to the diet of 28-day-old weaned piglets for 25 days, the daily gain of piglets increased by 7.3% , the feed conversion rate increased by 2.53% , and the protein and energy utilization efficiency increased by 10.3% and 9.8% , respectively, the incidence of diarrhea in piglets decreased significantly. Wu Tianxing (2002) added 1% calcium formate to the diets of three-way crossbred weaned piglets, the daily gain increased by 3% , the feed conversion increased by 9% , and the diarrhea rate decreased by 45.7% . Other things to note: Calcium formate is effective before and after weaning because the hydrochloric acid secreted by piglets increases with age; calcium formate contains 30% of the easily absorbed calcium, in the preparation of feed to pay attention to adjust the ratio of calcium and phosphorus. Industrial Grade Calcium formate: (1) construction industry: AS A fast setting agent for cement, lubricant, early drying agent. Used in building mortar and various concrete, speed up the hardening of cement, shorten the setting time, especially in winter construction, to avoid low temperature setting rate too slow. Quick demoulding enables cement to be put into use as soon as possible to improve its strength. (2) other industries: Leather, wear-resistant materials, etc. .
